Dear readers! We present to your attention the fourth issue of the LOGISTICS journal. By tradition, in the April issue we summarize the results of TransRussia | SkladTech 2025. This year, the exhibition attracted a record number of exhibitors and over 30,000 visitors. Under the heading "non-economic activity", we are posting an interesting article by A.V. Efimov on the prospects for the development of non-primary non-energy exports from Russia to Vietnam.
At the particular article, we describe a business case of Lean system implementation for major energy company of Ukraine. Described strategic change program based on Lean instruments for 10 power plants, 30 coalmines, and 4 regional distribution companies. Provided description of key issues, solutions, and benefits of Lean implementation for group of companies. Current approach of Lean Six Sigma practical tools can be implemented in production companies of Russia and CIS with cultural specifics and production to increase production efficiency, ecology of production and safety environment. This topic helps to develop cost-cutting initiatives and implement cultural change, and thus is highly relevant for modern ex-Soviet Union companies.
