Dear readers! In September the CeMAT RUSSIA exhibition was held, which showed everyone that innovations and robotics are increasingly penetrating the logistics industry. We can safely say that many technologies are tested here, and only then they go out into the world. However, it is not only CeMAT RUSSIA that demonstrates the prevalence of the digital agenda.
Dear readers! This is the ninth issue of the journal, which turned out to be very rich and diverse. Traditionally, the issue is opened by an analyst. Dear readers! We present to your attention the eleventh issue of Logistics! On its pages you will find all the latest news and articles.
We inform you that in the spring of 2024, the premiere of the international exhibition of logistics, transport, warehouse equipment and equipment Logistika Expo will take place. Effective warehouse management is impossible today without the development of information technology. So, in the article by E.V. Pavlova and co-authors, an attempt was made to evaluate the effectiveness of inventory using unmanned aerial vehicles using the example of a pharmaceutical warehouse. In the material of I.V. Sergeev and G.A. Gutorov, the problems of administration and logistic controlling of multi-layered supply chains are considered.
Optimizing the delivery of perishable products in the food retail market is of great importance. Interesting work on this topic is presented by E.V. Slepenkova, D.Y. Sobolev, E.A. Platonova. According to the authors, their developments can help in improving the logistics processes of companies to compete effectively in the market.
In the latest issue, two articles are devoted to multimodal transportation at once. In the first article by V.T. Volov and co–authors, the Kuntsevo - Busan direction is considered, in the second material N.P. Tereshina and Tong Hong Phi talk about the state and prospects of such transportation in the logistics services industry of Vietnam.
