Dear readers! We are pleased to present to you the eleventh issue of the journal in 2025. There are a lot of relevant and useful materials in the issue, which, hopefully, will not be ignored.
Dear readers! In September the CeMAT RUSSIA exhibition was held, which showed everyone that innovations and robotics are increasingly penetrating the logistics industry. We can safely say that many technologies are tested here, and only then they go out into the world. However, it is not only CeMAT RUSSIA that demonstrates the prevalence of the digital agenda.
Dear readers! This is the ninth issue of the journal, which turned out to be very rich and diverse. Traditionally, the issue is opened by an analyst. The material by Alina Nasyrova from the Market Guide Agency, dedicated to investments in warehouse complexes in Russia, recalls the importance of developing logistics infrastructure for the integrated development of regions.
We decided to devote the final 12th issue, of the "LOGISTICS” journal to the development of the two directions, which face the future.
The first tendency is an attempt to start the development of the HoReCa (Hotels, Restaurants, Cafe) direction, which is currently in fashion in the West, and the hospitality industry in general. In the Russian logistics scientific literature there are practically no works devoted to this subject. At the same time, this area is one of the most rapidly developing segments of the Russian economy in recent years, which means that in near future it will become one of the drivers of the domestic logistics industry. And this applies to both the logistics management of tourist flows (flows of people), and logistics management of trade flows in the HoReCa segment, so we invite the scientific logistics community to participate in the discussion of this problem. Meanwhile, we recommend you to pay attention to the article by Yulia Kislova and Anna Kazunina "Development of methodology for assessing the tourist flows to the territory of Moscow ", which describes both the methodology and the practical results, obtained by the Market Guide Agency, leading analytical agency in the field of analyzing the tourist flows, within three-year research. The analytical materials of JLL agency devoted to the study of the market of high-quality hotels in Moscow, Moscow region and St. Petersburg, and the development of food & beverage segment (F&B, catering) in shopping centers in Moscow and St. Petersburg is sure to arouse significant interest.
The second tendency, which is actively covered in the 12th issue, is dedicated to the new formats of training in logistics. We draw the readers' attention to the proposal of Boris Levin and Leonid Mirotin to create the Institute of logistics and supply chains in Russia. The authors invite all interested persons to participate in the discussion and are waiting for comments and suggestions, which can be sent to them, both directly and through the Editorial Board of the "LOGISTICS " journal.
Professionals will undoubtedly get interested in more traditional for our journal article by Alexei Nekrasov and Anna Sinitsyna "Logistic engineering as a tool to integrate transport and logistics systems", the paper by Alina Santikova and Ekaterina Tsenina “Evaluating the efficiency of logistics system functioning by means of risk management; and the work by Leonid Mirotin, Evgeny Lebedev and Elena Chekhovskaya “The environmental and economic choice of directions of the transport system development in the South of Russia”.
On behalf of the Editorial Board of the "LOGISTICS" journal we congratulate you on the occasion of the New Year and wish you success and prosperity in 2017!
