Dear readers! This is the fifth issue of the LOGISTICS journal, dedicated to the current challenges of modern logistics.
Annotation. The paper examines the dynamics of changes in the global container ship fleet and key development trends in the segment for 2021–2026. It analyses the growing share of container ships in global shipbuilding, reveals the structure of the global container fleet and the order book, and highlights the shift in market demand. The study provides an overview of innovative technical solutions in container ship construction. Special attention is given to the impact of technological changes on port infrastructure and logistics. The research findings make it possible to assess the current trends in the container shipping segment.
