Annotation. Intermodal transport schemes for perishable goods have recently become increasingly in demand due to the high level of transportation quality and a significant reduction in the likelihood of damage to the transported perishable cargo in a closed refrigerated container. Despite the fact that several types of transport are involved in intermodal transportation, the required temperature and other parameters are set and constantly maintained in the cargo area of the transported refrigerated container throughout the entire transportation. The article proposes a model of behavior of shippers of food products in the intermodal transport services market when choosing a logistics operator.
Key words. Intermodal transportation, perishable goods, refrigerated container, shipping companies.
