The article discusses the main mechanisms of adaptation to market conditions and the advantages of JSC Russian Railways, which reveal ways to activate and develop a container method of cargo delivery using a wide range of logistics technologies. The main reasons restraining the transportation of car components and finished products by rail are given. Particular attention is paid in the article to the delivery of car components by rail, including in the route container trains.
