Dear readers! We are pleased to present to you the eleventh issue of the journal in 2025. There are a lot of relevant and useful materials in the issue, which, hopefully, will not be ignored.
Dear readers! In September the CeMAT RUSSIA exhibition was held, which showed everyone that innovations and robotics are increasingly penetrating the logistics industry. We can safely say that many technologies are tested here, and only then they go out into the world. However, it is not only CeMAT RUSSIA that demonstrates the prevalence of the digital agenda.
Dear readers! This is the ninth issue of the journal, which turned out to be very rich and diverse. Traditionally, the issue is opened by an analyst. The material by Alina Nasyrova from the Market Guide Agency, dedicated to investments in warehouse complexes in Russia, recalls the importance of developing logistics infrastructure for the integrated development of regions.
This year the spring turned out to be eventful for the logistics industry. Following the major transport exhibitions TransRussia-2017 and TransCaspian-2017, other equally important events were held: the STL exhibition, as well as an international event - the Munich Transport Logistic 2017. On the pages of the journal you will find the details about these events, the opinions of the participants of the events and possible forecasts for the future. Looking ahead, we would like to underline an obvious fact: the economic situation in Russia is gradually stabilizing, companies are again starting to invest in business development. Against this background, it is more important than ever to solve tasks related to improving business efficiency and reducing costs. The fifth issue of the “LOGISTICS” journal is devoted to consideration and study of these processes.
Authors of the articles in the fifth issue of the journal are exploring the problems of optimization in various areas of logistics. For example, Andrey Eremin, Vladimir Ruzankin and Vitaly Solodovnikov consider the practical aspects of organizing tactical production using linear programming techniques at one of the largest steel companies - JSC Magnitogorsk Iron and Steel Mill. In their article Petr Baskakov and Leo Matyushin consider the issues of transport and logistics systems operating under the market conditions taking into account the example of PJSC TransContainer. Denis Pustokhin suggests and reveals the ways to accelerate the material flow in the intralogistics enterprise system.
Several articles of the present issue are devoted to the development of logistics centers. Vladimir Prokhorov and Nikita Alyaba represent the practice of developing the logistics centres in the countries of the Asia-Pacific region. Sergey Delz, Anna Sinitsyna and co-authors consider the location of multimodal terminal and logistics complexes in the areas of close interaction of various transport modes of transport. Particular attention is paid to the unique location of multimodal transport and logistics complexes near Gudermes in the Chechen Republic.
The article by Natalia Kireeva “Analysis of criteria for choosing the logistics services providers by small business representatives”, as well as Dmitry Ushakov's material on improving the processing of local Far Eastern products and optimizing their transportation to the Central Russia will be interesting and informative for logisticians who are trying to improve the efficiency of business processes of their companies. And finally, Maria Martynova will tell the readers how the cargo carriers keep losses under control and protect their business.
