Published No. 5 of the LOGISTICS journal for 2026

Dear readers! This is the fifth issue of the LOGISTICS journal, dedicated to the current challenges of modern logistics. 

In this issue, we have collected articles and research by experts from different regions of Russia, which will help you gain a comprehensive understanding of the industry's development. In the "Information Technologies" section, we have an important study by V.M. Kurganov, M.V. Gryaznov, and A.N. Dorofeev, which focuses on the emergence and evolution of intelligent logistics. 

The "Supply Chain Management" section opens with an article by V.V. Dybskaya and V.I. Sergeev, which focuses on improving the sustainability and reliability of supply chains during digital transformation. The topic is continued by A.P. Dementyev and M.Yu. Doroshenko, who explore the supply chain as a complex adaptive system and propose a process-based approach to its modeling.

E.R. Dobronravin examines the evolution of approaches to supply chain management through the lens of the concept of alternative value, arguing that the traditional focus on total costs is becoming a limitation in the context of digital transformation. 

The study by O.N. Larin and M.V. Matosov, "The Concept of Combined Vaccine Delivery Planning," demonstrates the practical application of new methods in a critical field. 

In the "Transport" section, In the section "Transportation," you will find an article by V.V. Sidorkov, which offers solutions for optimizing urban transportation, and a collaborative work by A.V. Astafyev, P.V. Kurenkov, M.M. Miziiev, and others on innovations in railway transport management. 

The issue concludes with analytical materials. O.N. Gutnikova and V.O. Egorova examine regional trends in the sunflower oil market in the Republic of Crimea, while M.Yu. Kashigina assesses the prospects for the development of the perfume market in Russia.
