The issue opens with an article by I.V. Sharova and M.S. Soloveichik on the role of port infrastructure in the development of Russian regions. The authors show how the modernization of ports can become a driver for the growth of entire territories and strengthen Russia's position in the international transport market.
The functioning and development of regional aviation in Russia is discussed by I.V. Pustokhina and T.P. Vlasova. The article discusses the problems of accessibility of air traffic for remote regions and suggests ways to solve them.
In the section "Warehouse. Inventory Management", I.P. Elyashevich and M.I. Elyashevich consider the main directions of improving methods of planning the need for inventory and offer a fresh look at the optimization of warehouse processes – a topic that is always relevant for business of any scale.
A comprehensive analysis of the disintegration of logistics processes at industrial enterprises is offered by G.G. Levkin and co-authors, who analyze in detail the causes and consequences of the organizational separation of the supply service.
