On the 1st of April the international logistics operator is launching the second platform in the region
“A” class warehouse with total area of 23,000 sq.m, , is designed for storage of FMCG and food products, including alcohol and fresh products (the platform has temperature zones from +2 to +4, from +4 to +6 and from +6 to +8˚С).
At the warehouse, the logistics operator will be rendering its standard set of services: reception, storage, order picking,.
The platform was constructed for the French retailer Auchan. Over 250 people work at the warehouse.
FM Logistic is present in the region since 2006, when its first warehouse platform was opened in St. Petersburg (15 000 sq.m).
“Opening of the second warehouse in St. Petersburg follows the FM Logistic strategy on expanding its presence in Russian cities and regions which are the most significant for the company’s development”, says Christophe Menivard, General director of FM Logistic Russia.
