Annotation. The study examines the problem of classifying logistics service providers. The aim of the work is to develop a classification of logistics providers covering postal and courier services. Based on the analysis of the regulatory framework and scientific papers, the terms of a freight forwarding company, a courier service and a postal operator are disclosed. The unique characteristics of the studied objects are highlighted.
