The article considers the increase in the efficiency of cost optimization in production warehouses. As a result of the analysis of the methods of selecting orders at retail warehouses, a technology was developed for storing, placing and selecting orders. In case of a research of methods of solving the traveling salesman problem, the optimal one was found and applied to the solution of the optimization problem.
The article describes an algorithm for optimal selection of free gate and the area of the loading and unloading of cargo transport, taking into account the criteria for effective and efficient management of the combined area of handling a large distribution center.
