New ISAL 6000 sweeper: The specialist for dusty environments

Winnenden, September 2018 – With the ISAL 6000 sweeper, ISAL (Kärcher Group) is putting on the market a 6m³ high-performance sweeper that is designed for use in dusty environments. Above all in view of the current discussions and specifications regarding fine dust pollution, local councils and industrial customers can benefit from the filtration of the exhaust air combined with the mechanical pick-up of dirt. Coarse dirt as well as fine dust can thus be removed without discharging dust particles into the environment. In addition, the machine works very efficiently, which significantly reduces operating costs. The Clever Detective System supports the user in working with the appropriate contact pressure depending on the floor texture. All sweeping settings can be simply adjusted to the respective requirements.

Whether in towns or on industrial premises with very dusty conditions: If you are dealing not only with coarse sweepings but also with fine dust particles, you need a sweeper that removes dirt without discharging dust in the exhaust air. The ISAL 6000 performs this task by means of two hydraulically controlled side brushes that guide the sweepings to the centre of the machine, where the central brush directs the collected dirt to a belt conveyor, which carries it to the container. A powerful filter ensures that practically no dust particles get into the exhaust air.

The all-wheel steering allows great manoeuvrability with the hydrostatic traction drive. Thanks to the eco-mode, fuel consumption can be reduced by up to 25 per cent. Simple handling and efficient working are possible thanks to the well-thought-out operating concept. The Clever Detective System is designed for analysing the floor texture in real time and adjusting the performance of the ISAL 6000 accordingly. The user therefore does not have to check himself whether the machine settings are correct. At the same time, unnecessary wear of the brushes caused by excessively high contact pressure is avoided. For example, if there are deep holes in the ground or if there is stubborn dirt on the ground, by pressing the Extra Pressure Button it is possible to increase the pressure of the central brush immediately for 10 to 15 seconds. Also, already stored settings can be adjusted or called up simply via the operating panel.

The intuitive operating concept makes learning how to operate the machine very straightforward. In addition, attention has been paid to the driver's comfort and ergonomics. The cabin, which is fitted with three seats, is accessible from both sides and has no centre console to obstruct changing from one side to the other.
