Dear readers! In September the CeMAT RUSSIA exhibition was held, which showed everyone that innovations and robotics are increasingly penetrating the logistics industry. We can safely say that many technologies are tested here, and only then they go out into the world. However, it is not only CeMAT RUSSIA that demonstrates the prevalence of the digital agenda.
Dear readers! This is the ninth issue of the journal, which turned out to be very rich and diverse. Traditionally, the issue is opened by an analyst. The material by Alina Nasyrova from the Market Guide Agency, dedicated to investments in warehouse complexes in Russia, recalls the importance of developing logistics infrastructure for the integrated development of regions.
Dear readers! We present to your attention the eighth issue of the magazine and its materials.
Annotation. The specificity of the environmental approach to the use of tara and packaging for solving logistics problems is considered. The parameters for the optimal selection of tara and packaging from an environmental point of view are justified. The measures are described that allow minimizing the negative environmental impact in organizing the distribution of goods and ensure the optimization of all costs.
Key words. Tara, packaging, pollution factor, ecology, estimation parameters, ratio, packaging optimization, resources, costs, minimization.
Annotation. The article explores the connection between certain aspects of the sustainable development paradigm and the commercial success of business based on the example of transnational corporation (TNC) Scania. Various business cases are illustrated indicating that the field of sustainable development is growing from a common set of good wishes and socially responsible activities into business area that generates additional income.
