Dear readers! We present to you a fresh issue of the magazine dedicated to current issues in the logistics industry.
Dear readers! We present to you the first issue of 2026, in which we have collected a number of interesting materials on issues of modern logistics.
We are pleased to present to you the final issue of the journal in 2025 and inform you that LOGISTICS is opening a new page in its development by starting cooperation with the Crystal Growth Foundation, which means that the information saturation of the publication will change for the better. The first issue is dedicated to one of the innovative domestic developments, AI-Kantorovich, which the Crystal Growth Foundation created together with Hive Mind AI.
Annotation. Considered the project approach when introducing artificial intelligence (AI) technology into the current activity of the focus company of the supply chain, consisting of five stages. The priorities of using the SCOR-model and integrated supply chain planning in the implementation of the project approach are outlined. The role of AI in improving the visibility of logistics processes based on the compilation of supply chain maps and the matrix of artificial intelligence in supply chain management (SCM) is studied.
Key words. Supply chain, artificial intelligence, project approach, supply chain management, logistics process, integrated planning.
Annotation. The article systematizes scientific approaches to the concept of «market uncertainty», presents the principles of functioning and limitations of traditional forecasting methods. The article defines the tasks and classifies machine learning methods, discusses the stages of integrating ML solutions into logistics systems, and substantiates the importance of predictive analytics using artificial intelligence.
Key words. Market uncertainty, supply chain uncertainty factors, traditional forecasting methods, demand forecasting accuracy, machine learning, and artificial intelligence.
Annotation. The paper is devoted to identifying the most significant components of an organization's inventory management system that must be taken into account when choosing a mathematical model (strategy) to improve the efficiency of logistics based on the selection and analysis of more than 100 scientific papers.
Key words. Process model, inventory management, strategy selection, replenishment volume, order timing.
Annotation. The article discusses the issues of ensuring spatial connectivity and increasing transport mobility of the Russian population in the context of changing directions of passenger traffic, their intensity, as well as partial closure of airspace in the using the example of the regions of the Southern Federal District.
Key words. Transport system, rail transport, spatial connectivity, population mobility, multimodal transportation, southern region.
Annotation. The article provides a comparative analysis of the application of classical logistics rules in supply chains in relation to end and intermediate consumers. The expediency of introducing and using the concept of «consumer of material flow» as an analytical category reflecting the specifics of the requirements of commercial intermediaries is substantiated. Options for the implementation of the «right place» factor depending on the type of consumer and the localization of the transfer of ownership of the product are considered. It is shown that the choice of the point of transfer of risks and responsibilities, formalized through the terms of delivery and the type of intermediation, has a significant impact on the distribution of logistics costs, the level of service and the overall efficiency of the supply chain.
Key words. Logistics, supply chain, transfer of ownership, logistics rules, desired place, goods, consumer of material flow, logistics costs, INCOTERMS, commercial intermediaries.
Annotation. The article presents an analysis of modern approaches to solid municipal waste management, examines innovative technologies for waste disposal and energy use, as well as the economic and environmental aspects of this system.
Key words. Logistics, waste management, economics, energy.
