Logistic terms and their usage

The authors of the article have tried to fully cover the existing terminology related to logistics, given its originality and specificity. Analyzed according to the «Rating of academic activity», given in the Russian Science Citation Index (RISC), the use of these concepts.

Development of energy supply logistics in a large country (case study: the United Kingdom)

The article examines a structural and spatial transformation of the electric power industry in the UK. We outlined the stages of the industry development, location features, scale and prevailing type of generators, increase in the levels of logistics of energy supply from «generation at the point of consumption» to large regional networks.

On the formation of the logistics centers network in the Republic of Vietnam (Part I)

Annotation. In present article, problems of a logistical centers network formation in republic Vietnam are considered. The combined technique to determine the best location for logistical center based on rating estimations and the modified analytic hierarchy process is approved.

Ecology of logistics: Problem of the Volga logistic route pollution and one of the ways to solve it

Volga is not only great Russian river, but and an important logistic route of our country which is used for transportation of various freights. Her intensive pollution became one of problems of Volga today, and one of pollutants is the river transport plying down the river.

Economics of logistics: how many "rubles" are thrown away through the exhaust pipe of the car or what prevents to increase road transportation

Today in the world more than one billion cars are operated, each of which represents not only the vehicle, but also a source of emissions in the atmosphere of the «money» spent by car owners for the fuel which is contained in exhaust gases. At the same time gas emissions of the car not only intensively pollute the environment and bring significant economic damage to car owners, but also interfere with further increase in motor transportation transportations.

On the necessity of distinction between the concepts "transport" and "logistics" infrastructure

This article is a study of various approaches to the definition of the concepts of «transport» and «logistics» infrastructure and argues the position of the need to refrain from using the term «transport and logistics» infrastructure, which, despite being well-established, is not correct. The conducted research of Russian and foreign scientific publications has shown that the transport infrastructure has already been ramped up in the logistics infrastructure, therefore it is illogical to use these terms as equivalent.

Third-party logistics: transformation of the concept in the networked economy

The article reveals the features of the transformation of Third-party logistics in the networked economy. The author analyzes the peculiarities of the application of Third-party logistics in various spheres of market relations. Special attention is paid to the influence of Third-party logistics on the development of e-commerce.

Logistics economy: minimizing the cost of cargo delivery to the settlements in remote regions of Russia

Ensuring daily activity of settlements in remote regions of the Russian Federation a priori is impossible without the considerable financial expenses necessary including for delivery of the freights, vital for the population. Now delivery of the main volume of freights to remote areas is made only during northern delivery which is economically not favorable, but is extremely necessary.

The article talks about the information and financial components of digital logistics, proposes a detailed and detailed classification of information and financial flows, analyzes the possibility of using bitcoin currency in the Russian economy, describes the system of accumulation and expenditure of RZD Bonus and S7 points, shows the role of oil corporations in the world economy.

Analysis of application of terms «purchase» and «supply» in theory and practice of logistics

The article analyzes the existing definitions of the terms «purchase» and «supply» in logistics. The criteria delineating the concepts are proposed, and the cause-effect relationships between the existing differences in the definitions of «purchase» and «supply» in logistics activities are determined.
